About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in Dorval, Quebec. This role is open to current university students only, not graduates. You may be required to travel outside of Canada occasionally for work or training purposes.
What you'll do#
- Support the community affairs program and team activities.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders in Industry and Government Affairs.
- Monitor government committee proceedings and provide concise summaries to the team.
- Complete one or two policy-oriented research projects.
- Help coordinate industry events and site visits.
- Manage and process sponsorship requests.
- Organize meetings and prepare briefing materials.
- Provide general office administrative support.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program specializing in political science, public administration, international relations, social sciences, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of the Canadian political system.
- Prior experience in the private sector or government relations.
- Ability to conduct research, report on findings, and develop content.
- Proficiency in monitoring Canadian and international news for policy and industry developments.
- Experience using social media platforms for monitoring and interaction.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, Outlook, and Asana is an asset.
