About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Electromechanical EWIS Design team to support the development of electrical systems for business jet aircraft. This position is based in Dorval, Quebec, and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design of electrical harnesses for business jet aircraft.
- Learn the EWIS process and assist with harness 3D modeling and installation drawings.
- Develop 3D EWIS harness routing, which includes designing supports, placing components, and creating assemblies and detail drawings.
- Support change management activities within the team.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support team operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program for Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA) and Microsoft Project.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- An autodidactic approach to learning.
- A strong interest in programming, project management, change management, and aerospace electrical wiring.
- Experience with Catia V5 or NX is considered an asset.
- You must maintain student status throughout the internship.
