About the role#
This internship offers a look at how civil designs move from plans to the construction site. Based in our Tampa office, you will support the Construction Administration team on land development projects throughout the metropolitan area. You will gain exposure to the construction phase and see how design teams and contractors collaborate in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and project correspondence.
- Participate in site visits and help document observations.
- Support pre-construction activities, permit coordination, and punch lists.
- Maintain project logs, trackers, and documentation.
- Help coordinate between contractors, design teams, and Construction Administration professionals.
- Assist project teams in addressing construction-related questions.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preference for a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
