About the role#
This position involves supervising 6th to 8th grade students after school dismissal until their rides arrive. You will work directly with the children, helping to create a positive environment while they wait.
What you'll do#
- Connect with students through conversation and play.
- Supervise students during various games.
- Correct student behavior when necessary.
- Manage snack sales.
- Track student check-in and check-out times using a computer.
- Maintain the work area by tidying and organizing at the end of your shift.
- Stay flexible to handle changing situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- A Christ-like testimony and integrity.
- A genuine love for students and a willingness to interact with them and their parents.
- Ability to follow directives from the Late Stay supervisor and work well with other team members.
- A desire to learn and improve.
- Adaptability to adjust your schedule, as BJU and BJA breaks may differ.
- Previous experience working with students is helpful but not required.
