About the role#
BlueLinx Corporation is seeking an Information Technology intern to join our team in Marietta. This role supports our IT organization by helping design, build, and improve enterprise applications. You will work with IT staff and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions that improve how our systems function.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop application features and technical assets.
- Create and update application components, including documentation, configuration guides, and user support materials.
- Work with subject matter experts to gather requirements and analyze system workflows.
- Support the adoption of business applications and reporting tools.
- Manage project artifacts in source control and ticketing systems to ensure version control.
- Test and troubleshoot application features based on stakeholder feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Data Science.
- Interest in enterprise software engineering and modern IT practices.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail when maintaining documentation and project artifacts.

- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship located in Marietta, Georgia.
- The position operates on a rolling basis.
