About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at a construction project location, gaining hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry. This role is designed for students pursuing degrees in construction management or engineering fields who are ready to engage in field activities and project operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the collection of daily production and safety data.
- Help coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
- Assist with project equipment management, including tracking tools and materials.
- Attend weekly meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and owner representatives.
- Assist in preparing agendas for daily and monthly meetings.
- Engage in field activities to gain direct experience with craft positions.
- Develop professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in construction management, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to relocate to the assigned construction project site for the full 12-week duration of the internship.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
- Comfort working in environments with exposure to dirt, heat, noise, dust, and a trailer office setting.
