About the role#
As a Technology Intern at Blackhawk Network, you will work alongside software developers and architects. You will gain hands-on experience building large-scale big data processing systems that handle multi-billion dollar financial transactions with high precision. This role focuses on real-world applications of software engineering, data analytics, and cloud infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Build large-scale big data processing systems.
- Develop stream-processing systems using Spark-Streaming.
- Create DevOps pipelines and CI/CD systems.
- Build transaction processing systems using REST, micro-services, and Kinesis.
- Develop data and analytics platforms that apply ML/AI and Big Data techniques.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering at an accredited college or university.
- A solid background in algorithms, data structures, and coding.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
