About the role#
As an Engineering Technician Intern, you will work with the Virtual Design & Data Solutions Team. You will serve as a resource for an assigned function, such as Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical engineering. This position provides hands-on experience at an employee-owned firm, along with mentorship and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Support project goals by assisting with engineering tasks.
- Use drafting and modeling software to create designs.
- Manage your work to meet specific budget and scheduling restraints.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2 or 4 year Engineering Technology program.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks and drug screens.
- No prior experience is required for this role.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in one of the following locations: Overland Park, KS; Ann Arbor, MI; Bloomington, MN; Chattanooga, TN; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; or Tualatin, OR.
