About the role#
As an IT Support Intern, you will join the IT Operations team and report to the Director of Security Operations. You will provide hands-on support for internal systems and end-user technology while contributing to operational excellence. This role provides exposure to identity and access management, enterprise productivity platforms, endpoint management, and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Security, Compliance, People, and Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot operating systems and software applications across the organization.
- Respond to and resolve trouble tickets in a timely manner.
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to systems.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, primarily through Okta.
- Configure and manage mobile devices using an MDM platform.
- Administer and maintain Okta for user lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization.
- Configure and customize Slack for team communication and integrate it with other tools.
- Manage resources and services within enterprise productivity suites such as Google.
- Use Jira Service Management for ticketing.
What you'll need#
- Working towards or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with MacOS and Chromebooks.
- Familiarity with Okta, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of operating systems, networking, enterprise productivity tools, and identity management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage tasks meticulously and ensure accuracy.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a compensation of $30.00 per hour.
- The position is fully remote within the United States.
- This role operates on a rolling term basis.
