About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within a team while receiving mentorship from BGE employees. You will gain exposure to civil engineering projects and participate in specific events and training designed for career development. The role includes intern-specific activities alongside your regular work tasks.
What you'll do#
- Work as part of a team on public infrastructure projects.
- Learn from experienced BGE staff through mentorship.
- Attend training sessions and professional development events.
- Participate in scheduled intern activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Capacity to learn industry-specific software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
