About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our Public Works department. You will work directly with our team, receiving mentorship from experienced employees as you contribute to civil engineering projects. We offer a structured environment that includes specific career development training and intern-focused activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on daily project tasks.
- Learn from and receive guidance from BGE staff.
- Attend training sessions and events designed for professional growth.
- Participate in activities specifically for interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn industry-specific software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
