About the role#
This internship offers direct experience working with independent insurance agency partners across the country. You will join the Marketing Communications Department to help grow our network and support agency relationships. This is a paid, on-site position based in Omaha.
What you'll do#
- Call prospective agents to gauge interest in partnering with BHHC.
- Write marketing messages that explain the benefits of working with us.
- Use internal data to learn about our products and identify growth areas.
- Gather market intelligence through phone conversations.
- Help the Agency Unit process applications and follow up with agencies to ensure paperwork is complete.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Sophomore or Junior.
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Marketing or Business Administration program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A focus on providing excellent customer service.
Location & details#
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will work 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year, with the option for up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
