About the role#
Bell is seeking an Investment Analyst Intern to join the team in Montreal. This role supports the management of over $30 billion in financial assets for pension funds. You will work with professionals to monitor investments, manage risk, and support portfolio management activities. This internship is open for the Winter or Summer 2027 terms and lasts between 4 to 8 months.
What you'll do#
- Develop tools and models using Excel and Bloomberg for Fixed Income and Alternative Investments teams.
- Use Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to build agents, automate workflows, and improve research efficiency.
- Perform market research and financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and macro-economic trends.
- Assist with portfolio management tasks and participate in investment meetings.
- Support the team with ad-hoc requests and various projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in finance, economics, or a related field (2nd or 3rd year).
- Strong grasp of the investment landscape, including fixed income and derivative instruments.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required for stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work as a mature, autonomous, and flexible team player.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal, financial modeling, databases, programming, or Microsoft Copilot Studio is an asset.
Location & details#
- The position is based in Montreal, Quebec.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The work modality is hybrid (mobile), requiring attendance at a Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
