The R&D Co-op program provides exposure to multiple disciplines and product lines within the Urology and Critical Care Research and Development function. This role is designed to provide real-world engineering experience, allowing you to contribute to the design, development, and launch of medical devices while working alongside experienced engineers. This is a paid, full-time position requiring a commitment to three rotational semesters.
What you'll do#
- Write test protocols and reports.
- Conduct basic product testing.
- Assist in building prototype devices and fixtures.
- Research and review clinical data for assigned projects.
- Support engineers with various product development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a scientific or engineering field, including Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, as well as Biology or Chemistry.
- Ability to work on-site daily within a commutable distance.
- Commitment to completing three rotational semesters.
