Engineering Intern

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid engineering internship based in Canaan, Connecticut. The role operates on a rolling basis and requires on-site attendance to support engineering, operations, and maintenance departments.

What you'll do#

• Provide daily project and emergency support to engineering departments.
• Collaborate with production personnel to improve the operation and maintenance of production equipment.
• Assist an engineering leader with design, solid modeling, and component assembly.
• Act as an engineering representative for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Apply validation principles under the supervision of a project engineer.
• Serve as a team leader for smaller engineering projects or short-term production support tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality policies, and hazardous waste procedures.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomedical, or Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
• Ability to support technical engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with safety regulations.
• Willingness to learn and apply validation principles.
