The R&D Co-op program provides exposure to multiple disciplines and product lines within the Urology and Critical Care Research and Development function. Participants contribute to assigned projects while gaining real-world experience in the design, development, and launch of medical devices. This is a paid, full-time position designed for those seeking to build engineering experience toward their degree.
What you'll do#
- Write test protocols and reports.
- Conduct basic product testing.
- Assist in building prototype devices and fixtures.
- Research and review clinical data for assigned projects.
- Support engineers with various product development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a scientific or engineering field, including Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, as well as Biology or Chemistry.
- Ability to work on-site daily within a commutable distance.
- Commitment to three rotational semesters.
