About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Lethbridge, Alberta, for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site to support agronomic trials and gain hands-on experience in the field. This position is intended for students currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program who will return to their studies after the term concludes.
What you'll do#
- Organize and manage large-scale trials.
- Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides.
- Support customer tours and presentations.
- Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers.
- Transport equipment between various trial sites.
- Complete and present a demand creation or research project to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an agriculture science or related degree program.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to travel within your assigned region.
- Capacity to work independently.
- Commitment to safety in all field operations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for agronomy and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.
