About the role#
Barry-Wehmiller offers internship and co-op opportunities for students interested in architecture, engineering, and construction. You will join our multidisciplinary teams to support projects for industrial and manufacturing clients. These positions are available for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Develop drawings, layouts, specifications, calculations, models, and other project deliverables.
- Support architectural, structural, electrical, or construction-related project activities.
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, coordination discussions, and site visits.
- Research and evaluate equipment, materials, codes, standards, and technical requirements.
- Assist with field observations, equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, and project closeout.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites, client locations, company meetings, or training as needed.
- Previous internship, co-op, academic, or project experience related to architecture, engineering, construction, design, or project delivery is preferred.

- Locations: Fort Worth, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Concord, New Hampshire; and St. Louis, Missouri.
