Research Intern

About the role#

This is a temporary, part-time internship position based in the Geriatrics Clinic. The role is designed to provide exposure to professional practices and procedures within a healthcare setting. Interns work under the direct supervision of a department manager to gain practical experience and contribute to the unit's ongoing initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Expand your professional knowledge through exposure to various roles related to your field of study.
• Participate on work teams and contribute to department projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research and prepare reports on assigned topics as required.
• Collaborate as a team member to provide service to internal and external customers.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a graduate program or graduation within the last 6 months in Public Health or Health Administration.
• General knowledge related to the department or area of study.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Location within Arizona or Colorado.
• Experience with QI and research projects is highly preferred.

Location & details#

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona (On-site).
• Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
• Term: Rolling, with a typical duration of up to one year.
• Compensation: Paid position.
