The Care Transformation Intern position is a temporary, part-time role based in Phoenix, Arizona. This internship typically lasts up to one year and involves working 20 hours per week, with a standard schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and some flexibility. You will work under the direct supervision of a department manager to gain practical experience and contribute to the Quality Improvement team by reviewing and validating datasets for National and State Registries.
What you'll do#
- Expand professional knowledge through exposure to various roles within your area of study.
- Participate in work teams and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Perform research and prepare reports on assigned topics.
- Collaborate as a team member to provide service to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college program, specifically targeting graduate-level students in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Public Health, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- General knowledge related to the department or area of study.
- Preferred experience includes proficiency with Python, PowerCharts, PowerBI, and work or health plan ranking methodologies.
