About the role#
The Baltimore Ravens are hiring a grounds intern for the summer of 2027. You will work at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Maryland, to support the day-to-day maintenance of fields and grounds. This role also involves assisting the crew at M&T Bank Stadium when needed. You will work at least 40 hours per week during the summer training camp.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine field maintenance including mowing, fertilizing, painting, and tarping.
- Manage irrigation systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain artificial turf and facility equipment.
- Assist with aerification, topdressing, overseeding, and sodding.
- Care for the landscape and grounds.
- Support daily NFL football practice operations.
What you'll need#
- Prior education or experience in turf grass management.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as mowers, tractors, forklifts, and skid steers.
- Capability to lift at least 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to interact professionally with staff, media, and outside vendors.
