About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring students at Taylor University to join our food service team. This is a part-time, on-site role that offers flexibility for your school schedule.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, bread, and utensils.
- Serve guests and assist in retail and dining areas.
- Follow guest service procedures, including greeting customers and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations.
- Handle multiple tasks at once while keeping up with the pace of the kitchen.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student on campus.
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule.
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members, supervisors, and guests.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.

- Meals are provided during your shift.
