About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a student for a food service position at Goshen College. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by monitoring temperatures and checking for spoilage.
- Set up stations for soups, salads, entrées, breads, and condiments.
- Serve customers and interact with guests in dining and retail areas.
- Follow standard guest service procedures, including greeting customers.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
