About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will join the R&D group to work on computer vision solutions for defense and commercial projects. The program lasts 12 weeks and takes place on-site. You will work in small teams on detection, classification, and tracking technologies.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of computer vision and machine learning algorithms for object detection and tracking.
- Assist in writing and testing software to integrate machine learning algorithms into aircraft systems.
- Explore and visualize data to understand distribution patterns and potential anomalies.
- Assist in implementing machine learning systems and validating designs through experiments.
- Contribute to the evaluation of machine learning algorithm performance and model deployment strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with C/C++ and MATLAB.
- U.S. person status under ITAR/EAR requirements.
