AutoZone 2026 Summer Internship – Store Operations

About the role#

This 10-week, full-time paid internship offers hands-on experience within the corporate retail industry. Interns will work on projects designed to optimize store processes, enhance efficiency, and drive performance and customer satisfaction across our U.S. store locations. The program includes cross-functional job shadowing, 1-on-1 mentorship, and professional development workshops.

What you'll do#

• Assist with optimizing store processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Contribute to projects that drive store performance and improve customer satisfaction.
• Participate in professional and personal development workshops and networking events.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled in a college or university at the time of the program (June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026). Students graduating before June 1, 2026, are not eligible.
• Preferred majors include Data Science, Data Analytics, and Automotive Engineering.
• Previous experience in an AutoZone store is considered a strong plus.

Location & details#

• Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
• Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026.
• Work Modality: On-site in Memphis for a minimum of two months.
• Relocation support is available for non-local students.
