AutoZone 2026 Summer Internship – Information Technology

About the role#

As a 2026 Summer Intern supporting Information Technology (IT), you will focus on the technical systems that power the business. You will work across various domains, including Application Development, Information Security, Infrastructure & Operations, and Architecture. This 10-week, full-time program provides hands-on experience in the corporate retail industry, featuring cross-functional job shadowing, 1-on-1 mentorship, and professional development workshops.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to technology initiatives and system enhancements to keep operations running efficiently.
• Collaborate within teams and manage your own sprints.
• Work closely with internal support teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
• Participate in networking and community service events.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment as a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at a college or university for the Summer 2026 term (June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026). Students graduating before June 1, 2026, are not eligible.
• Education in majors including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management of Information Systems (MIS).
• Proficiency in technical languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java.
• Experience with SCM tools including Gitlab, Github, and Jira.

Location & details#

• Location: Memphis, Tennessee (On-site).
• Requirement: Must be able to live in Memphis for a minimum of two months during the summer. Relocation support is available for non-local students.
• Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026.
