About the role#
Auld & White Constructors is hiring Project Management Interns to work from our office. You will work with construction professionals on commercial projects across Northeast Florida. This role offers exposure to the daily tasks of project management and provides hands-on experience in the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project startup tasks like updating master schedules and purchase control logs.
- Review project submittals, shop drawings, and product data.
- Prepare and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Assist with Change Order Proposals for project scope changes.
- Support project closeout, including punch list inspections and warranty follow-up.
- Help provide field personnel with documentation and information.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners regarding quality control.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Building Construction Management or a related field.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- A strong interest in a career within commercial construction.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
