About the role#
The IT Intern program offers current and soon to be college graduates an introduction to Information Technology. You will focus on one or more disciplines including Application Development, Systems Engineering, and Business Analysis. This is a paid, part-time internship lasting 12 to 16 weeks. You will be assigned a mentor to provide guidance, coaching, and training throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Develop applications in various programming languages.
- Provide day-to-day support for large scale enterprise applications.
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct testing and manage defects identified during the process.
- Prepare documentation on work produced to ensure a smooth transition for team members.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- At least 1 year of technical skills training.
- Experience with project work.
