IT Intern

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time, on-site IT internship based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role operates on a rolling basis and is open to students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.

What you'll do#

• Shadow help desk staff and resolve low-risk tickets under supervision.
• Review network diagrams, server infrastructure, backup schedules, and patch schedules.
• Document common network support tasks.
• Review security policies and shadow monitoring activities.
• Participate in a tabletop exercise and summarize key controls.
• Assist with account provisioning and observe maintenance activities.
• Update documentation and complete a supervised administrative task.
• Review governance documents and attend a change or risk discussion.
• Complete a small improvement project.
• Present lessons learned and provide final feedback.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.
• Ability to review standard operating procedures.
• Capability to document technical processes and support tasks.
