About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site IT internship based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role operates on a rolling basis and is open to students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.
What you'll do#
- Shadow help desk staff and resolve low-risk tickets under supervision.
- Review network diagrams, server infrastructure, backup schedules, and patch schedules.
- Document common network support tasks.
- Review security policies and shadow monitoring activities.
- Participate in a tabletop exercise and summarize key controls.
- Assist with account provisioning and observe maintenance activities.
- Update documentation and complete a supervised administrative task.
- Review governance documents and attend a change or risk discussion.
- Complete a small improvement project.
- Present lessons learned and provide final feedback.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or Data Science.
- Ability to review standard operating procedures.
- Capability to document technical processes and support tasks.
