About the role#
ASM is hiring early career graduates for a Summer 2027 internship program in Phoenix. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will contribute to the development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work alongside global teams to solve technical challenges and support the production of advanced technology.
What you'll do#
- Run experiments, process qualifications, and hardware evaluations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain advanced semiconductor equipment.
- Analyze process data to optimize semiconductor technologies.
- Develop software for semiconductor equipment control and automation.
- Build 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for new products.
- Design electrical systems, controls, and hardware components.
- Test new software releases, identify bugs, and validate fixes.
- Apply data science, AI, and machine learning to improve product performance.
- Support customer demonstrations and technology evaluations.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate status.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or Engineering Technology.
