About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience with government contracts, subawards, compliance reporting, and financial administration. You will work directly with the Senior Contracts and Grants Administrator to gain practical experience in contract review and documentation. This role is a fit for students interested in government contracts, compliance, or nonprofit administration.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and compliance support for contracts and subawards.
- Maintain internal spreadsheets and trackers to ensure accurate financial reporting and deadline management.
- Review and maintain file integrity within OneDrive to ensure organization and audit readiness.
- Perform data entry and tracking with high attention to detail.
- Assist with general award administration and government contract documentation.
- Support research and maintenance activities within Salesforce or other CRM systems.
What you'll need#
- Must be a US citizen.
- Rising junior or senior status pursuing a degree in Pre-Law, Political Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, Public Health, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking, basic formulas, and organization.
- Experience using OneDrive or similar document management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort reaching out to team members in a hybrid work environment.
- Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM tools is preferred.

- Location: Pittsburgh, PA.
- Modality: Hybrid with periodic in-person meetings.
- Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week.
- Duration: 10 to 12 weeks with rolling start dates.
