Student Worker - Food Service or Catering

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time student worker position based on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for the Summer 2026 term. This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Nutrition.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes and directions.
• Store food items in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
• Serve food to customers, ensuring satisfaction and anticipating guest needs.
• Replenish and stock food items to appropriate levels.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.

What you'll need#

• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
• Willingness to wear uniforms or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
