This is a full-time, paid student worker position in food service and catering for the Summer 2026 term. This role is based on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is open to students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Nursing, Nutrition, and Kinesiology.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Serve food to customers, ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations.
- Replenish food items and maintain stock levels.
- Adhere to safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
