About the role#
Aptiv is seeking students for our Summer 2027 internship program. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Walnut Creek office. You will work on technical projects that contribute to our business goals and gain hands-on experience in the software development and industrial technology space.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to real projects that create value for the business.
- Partner with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams to solve daily business challenges.
- Support project planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop your technical and leadership skills through practical work.
- Present project updates, recommendations, and final outcomes to stakeholders.
- Participate in networking, mentoring, and development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, industrial, or chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site at our Walnut Creek, CA office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership experience through student organizations, academic projects, or extracurricular activities is a plus.
- Interest in the automotive, mobility, technology, or manufacturing industries.
