About the role#
Applied Materials is seeking a Structural Dynamics Analyst Co-op for the Spring 2027 term. You will join the Systems Engineering C&F team to assist with system design, analysis, and product development projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform finite element analysis to estimate the structural and modal characteristics of engineering designs.
- Support system engineers with measurement and analysis efforts for new systems or sub-systems.
- Maintain testing equipment and manage annual calibration procedures.
- Write test plans and procedures for data collection.
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to review project status.
- Assist with various team projects and engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Good academic standing at your university.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Prior experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing is helpful but not required.

- Term: January 11, 2027, to June 11, 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Compensation: Paid position at $31 to $41 per hour.
