About the role#
The Advanced Project Development Department is looking for a co-op to join the team. You will work on developing and optimizing processes for the next generation of semiconductor products used by companies around the world.
What you'll do#
- Assist with laboratory plating demonstrations, including tool preparation, processing wafers, measuring wafers, and documentation.
- Lead small development projects that involve wafer metrology.
- Support process engineering through procurement, shipping, and inventory functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Doctorate or Master's degree program in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Good academic standing at your university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience in programming with C, C++, Matlab, or Python is preferred.

- Duration: 6 to 9 months.

- Compensation: $41 to $50 per hour.
