About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Apex Companies, you will work with experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of projects. This role provides hands-on experience and exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, environmental, and electrical engineering. You will gain experience through both office and field assignments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering design, analysis, and project documentation.
- Support field investigations, site visits, inspections, environmental sampling, and data collection.
- Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and other project deliverables.
- Use engineering software and technology tools to support project work.
- Collaborate with project teams to solve technical challenges and meet objectives.
- Communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute within a team.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professional engineering skills.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
