About the role#
Apex Behavior Consulting hires Behavior Analyst Interns to gain hands-on clinical experience while pursuing BCBA certification. You will work in a dual role as both a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and an intern. This position provides direct client care and supervised fieldwork hours required for your certification. We offer free BCBA supervision and tuition reimbursement for your graduate coursework.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct ABA therapy as an RBT.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating ABA Treatment Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to clinical recommendations.
- Support and train behavior technicians, caregivers, and families.
- Monitor client progress and analyze data.
- Complete documentation including session notes and monthly summaries.
- Participate in regular supervision and clinical meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BACB-approved course sequence.
- Current RBT certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it.
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Access to a phone, computer, and internet.
- Majors in Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Location & details#
- Location: Millcreek, Utah.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday. Full-time status requires 30+ hours per week, including availability from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM daily.
- Compensation: Paid position with rates ranging from $25 to $28 per hour depending on the specific service type performed.
