About the role#
This position is designed for individuals actively pursuing BCBA certification who are ready to gain hands-on experience in assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and collaboration. Interns work in a dual capacity as both a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a Behavior Analyst Intern, allowing for the completion of supervised fieldwork hours required for BCBA certification.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct ABA therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Provide behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating ABA Treatment Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to clinical recommendations.
- Support and train behavior technicians, caregivers, and families.
- Monitor client progress and analyze data.
- Complete documentation including session notes and monthly summaries.
- Participate in regular supervision and clinical meetings.
What you'll need#
- Must obtain and maintain RBT certification.
- Currently enrolled in a BACB-approved course sequence.
- Must be approved for supervision by an Apex BCBA.
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Access to a phone, computer, and internet.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
