Behavior Analyst Intern

About the role#

This position is designed for individuals actively pursuing BCBA certification who are ready to gain hands-on experience in assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and collaboration. Interns work in a dual capacity as both a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a Behavior Analyst Intern, allowing for the completion of supervised fieldwork hours required for BCBA certification.

What you'll do#

• Provide direct ABA therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Provide behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating ABA Treatment Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to clinical recommendations.
• Support and train behavior technicians, caregivers, and families.
• Monitor client progress and analyze data.
• Complete documentation including session notes and monthly summaries.
• Participate in regular supervision and clinical meetings.

What you'll need#

• Must obtain and maintain RBT certification.
• Currently enrolled in a BACB-approved course sequence.
• Must be approved for supervision by an Apex BCBA.
• Reliable transportation and consistent availability.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Access to a phone, computer, and internet.
• Preferred majors include Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
