About the role#
As a Design Evaluation Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the characterization and validation of semiconductor products. You will work alongside experienced engineers to perform bench testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure product quality throughout the development cycle.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and validate semiconductor devices using established laboratory equipment and test methods.
- Support debugging efforts to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Collect, document, and analyze measurement data and technical findings.
- Develop and improve internal testing and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Design, Test, Product, and Quality Engineering.
- Present your project results and offer recommendations based on your analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of electrical or computer engineering principles, including analog and digital circuits.
- Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.
- Exposure to programming or automation tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or C/C++.
- Prior experience with engineering projects or research involving data analysis, circuit evaluation, or hardware development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical data clearly.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Locations: Wilmington, Massachusetts; San Diego, California; or Durham, North Carolina.
