About the role#
This internship provides experience in corporate social responsibility through the operations of the Amgen Foundation. You will support the team with daily business tasks, global communication strategies, and the annual community grants cycle. This is a full-time, paid summer position based in the United States.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvements for community giving programs.
- Conduct independent research on staff engagement trends and recommend new approaches.
- Support the management of global communications and operations.
- Participate in short-term projects, including the review and analysis of grant applications.
- Shadow team members to learn about signature global programs.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Foundation team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited institution.
- Completion of at least one year of study before the start of the internship.
- Continued enrollment in a degree program following the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- Age 18 or older.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule while located in the United States.
- Concentration in Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or Science Education.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and research.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas to stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote (United States).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $28.87 per hour.
- Sponsorship: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program.
