About the role#
American Structurepoint is seeking a Road Co-op to join our team in Indianapolis. You will work on roadway projects for INDOT, local cities, towns, and counties. This role offers hands-on experience with diverse infrastructure projects, ranging from roundabouts and urban streets to rural roads and large interstate designs.
What you'll do#
- Perform roadway design tasks including calculations, layouts, and drainage analysis.
- Assist in the production of construction plan sets and develop cost estimates.
- Use 3D modeling tools and software such as MicroStation/GEOPAK, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Participate in various project types, including drainage improvements.
- Conduct site visits as needed to support project requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Transportation, Hydraulics, or related program with a focus on Civil Engineering.
- A strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset.
- An eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
