About the role#
American Structurepoint is looking for a part-time Architecture Design Intern to join our team in Lisle, Illinois. This role offers hands-on experience in a studio environment where you will work on active projects across higher education, federal, and commercial markets. You will receive personalized mentorship and professional development while learning the architecture process from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Support architects with design development, technical documentation, and drawings using Revit.
- Create 2D and 3D presentation drawings to help solve design challenges.
- Collaborate with team members in a studio setting.
- Participate in interdisciplinary exposure and firm-wide events.
- Assist the team with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are a current architecture student at the junior level or above, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A digital portfolio that showcases your academic or previous design work.
- A curious and motivated mindset with a desire to learn from experienced professionals.
