    About the role#

    ABS interns work within our business operations to gain experience in engineering review, technical problem solving, and research. You will work alongside a designated advisor to develop skills related to our core business functions while assisting with key project deliverables. This internship is a 3-month, full-time commitment during the summer. You will be based at our corporate headquarters in Spring, Texas.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in design review and analysis assignments for major or smaller projects.
    • Assist with detailed engineering plan reviews to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
    • Communicate project status updates to team members.
    • Assist with data collection efforts to improve data quality.
    • Help write and present technical papers and reports.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
    • A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
    • U.S. Citizen status.
    • A valid U.S. Driver’s License.
    • Familiarity with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.
