About the role#
This summer student position supports the Capital Project Performance team. You will report to the Manager of Capital Project Performance and assist with monthly capital and operating financial tasks. This is a full-time, 4-month term starting in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Verify, monitor, and code project invoices in SAP to ensure accuracy.
- Collect financial information and perform analysis to summarize status.
- Maintain the 2027 and 2028 SIS capital delivery project lists.
- Administer and perform monthly financial controls.
- Develop new ideas to improve existing financial work processes.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a student who has completed at least your first year of study.
- You are pursuing a degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- You possess strong computer skills and are proficient in Excel.
- You have excellent problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and time management skills.
- You communicate effectively with team members.
- You have a proven track record of good attendance and performance.
- Experience with SAP or an interest in PowerApps is considered an asset.
