About the role#
Alstom is looking for an intern to join the team in Saint-Bruno for a 12-month term starting in Winter 2027. You will work on digital mobility projects and contribute to the maintenance and performance of rail transportation systems.
What you'll do#
- Write data analysis scripts with Python to support predictive maintenance.
- Build visual dashboards and KPIs using Tableau for the Health Hub service.
- Analyze data from diagnostics and telematics systems to help optimize maintenance.
- Improve data mining algorithms and refine system alerts for fleet monitoring.
- Explore legacy data platforms and digital tools to support system integration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Interest in data analytics and digital technology for mobility systems.
- Experience with programming languages like Python, C++, Java, or VBA.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and motivation.
