About the role#
Alstom is hiring an Engineering Intern to join our team in Panama, PA for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role. You will work within our maintenance engineering department to support the daily operations of Lines 1 and 2 of the Panama Metro.
What you'll do#
- Assist the maintenance engineering team with their daily tasks.
- Respond to questions from internal units and clients.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements to help streamline our work.
- Learn the specific engineering processes used to maintain transit lines.
- Build your proficiency with internal software and tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- A curious mindset and a strong desire to learn.
- Practical experience using Excel.
- An organized and rigorous approach to your work.
- A willingness to innovate and solve problems.
Location & details#
- The position is based on-site at our TML offices in Albrook, Panama.
- This is a 6-month internship.
- We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
