About the role#
As a Business Sales Intern, you will work directly with our Account Executives to support the full sales cycle. You will gain experience in professional sales while helping manage client communications and developing new business opportunities. This is a paid, part-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Support Account Executives by preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts.
- Coordinate follow-up activities with prospects and customers to ensure all commitments are met.
- Research prospective customers and identify new sales opportunities within target markets.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone and email to generate leads and appointments.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems to track sales activities and customer information.
- Coordinate with internal departments like Engineering and Operations to support the customer experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and an interest in sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Previous internship or work experience in sales or marketing is a plus.
- Experience with sales platforms or tools is a plus.
- Ability to operate a computer and remain stationary for extended periods.
