About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing cost-effective manufacturing processes. You will work on technical projects that align with product specifications and quality standards, with supervision and guidance available as you learn.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing manufacturing systems, specifically focusing on continuous improvement.
- Improve the quality and throughput capability of production equipment.
- Help design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Study product requirements to research, design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate status at an accredited college or university, with 1-3 years of completed coursework.
- Enrollment in an academic program related to Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other technological fields.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
- Status as a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident, as required by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
