About the role#
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern works on the development and implementation of manufacturing processes. You will help create systems that are cost-effective and meet product quality standards. This role involves technical work where you will receive supervision while following established practices.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing manufacturing systems with a focus on continuous improvement for quality and throughput.
- Help design, develop, or improve manufacturing processes.
- Study product requirements to research, design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technological field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for working effectively with others.
- Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
- Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations.
