About the role#
As an Engineering Intern, you will work with the Senior Engineer and ground control team to support surveying, ventilation, and ground control activities. This 12 to 16 month placement provides exposure to mining operations and technical challenges. You will work in office, field, and underground environments on a 7x7 or 14x14 rotation.
What you'll do#
- Assist in underground surveying and update prints with production data.
- Participate in month-end reporting and seismic monitoring data analysis.
- Conduct underground inspections and assist in drafting secondary support prints.
- Support mine ventilation surveys and maintain accurate ventilation plans.
- Perform tasks related to ground control and other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years in a Mining Engineering or Mine Technologist program.
- Previous underground experience and Common Core modules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Deswik, Autocad, and Promine.
- Strong organizational skills, high energy, and self-motivation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Location: Dubreuilville, Ontario, Canada.
- Employment: Full time, paid position.
- Travel: Flights provided from Toronto, Sudbury, Rouyn-Noranda, or Thunder Bay.
